Medicen Paris Région
Description
Created in 2005, Medicen Paris Region is the health competitiveness cluster of the Île-de-France Region. Its unique network brings together more than 510 players in health innovation, including 430 healthtech startups and SMEs, health manufacturers, the main national research institutes and healthcare establishments in the region.
By bringing together private and public actors around innovation issues to develop the therapeutic and diagnostic solutions of tomorrow, Medicen is the trusted third party in the sector, serving the development and completion of projects.
In order to work for the growth of the sector, the marketing of innovative health products and services as well as the creation of jobs, the cluster has three levers of action:
- Promote the emergence of research projects and innovations, particularly through the animation of the ecosystem
- Direct project leaders to the right public or private funding agencies
- Supporting the growth of startups and SMEs in France and internationally
